How do you know if someone is too drunk to hook up?

Alcohol can mess with your ability to give and read consent. How can you tell if someone's had too much to drink? Slurred words, stumbling or confusion are all signs someone doesn't have the capacity to consent. Two people drinking doesn’t “cancel it out” – consent needs to be clear, informed and genuinely wanted by everyone involved.
